At UNCP, we do everything we can to help you afford college college. And if you need help, you're not alone. Over 80% of our student body receives some kind of assistance. Simply put, if you get accepted, there are ways for you to join us, regardless of your financial situation – or the condition of the economy. Make no mistake about it, times are tough for public institutions, with lowered state and federal support, but there are still many options – grants, scholarships, fellowships, work-study and loans.
And we'll help you find the option that is right for you.
To get started, review our checklist and remember that for fall enrollment, you need to apply for aid as soon as you can. Deadline to have the process in place is March 15th.
To give you a better idea of the financial aid process at UNCP, check out the videos on this page, where UNCP staff and students show you what to expect and how to make it work for you.
